Drawing The Buddha with Georgia Carbone ~ Saturday 8/24, 2-5pm

Learn to draw the face and body of the Buddha according to the sacred measurements that have been preserved over centuries in the tradition of Tibetan Thangka painting and drawing. Artist Georgia Carbone will guide participants through the methods for drawing a traditional Buddha as she learned them from Master Thangka artist Ngodup Tsering at the Norbulinka Institute for Tibetan Arts and Culture in Dharamsala, India. Participants will have the option to create a finished drawing, painting, or (time permitting) both!

Georgia Carbone is a Painter, Tarot reader, and Reiki healer. She received her MFA from the California College of the Arts and has been an artist for over 25 years.
